Steel fencing offers more strength than many other types of fencing, although it has to be treated so it won’t succumb to rust. Steel also has the advantage of being able to withstand exposure to salt and salt water, which will deteriorate other types of fencing materials, including aluminum.
While chain link fence posts are steel, and many wood fences have steel posts, steel is also used to create ornamental fences.
